Having been a time served member of the independent music scene, 13SCRƐAM is the brainchild of James McCulloch and, is the band he has always wanted to be in.

British Rock with a visceral, aggressive, raw punk perspective, standing on the shoulders of giants, we are screaming our influence from artists such as Therapy, Kerbdog, The Wildhearts, Danko Jones, and, from the new era of Alt Rock, The Empty Page and DR DR.

In Tarot, the number 13 represents Death.

After a long and arduous journey to mental health, McCulloch’s recent diagnosis of complex ADHD has brought enlightenment and change 13SCRƐAM is his way of marking his own, metaphorical death, and a subsequent cathartic, reimagining of self, now he finally knows who he really is.

It’s an honour to bring this vision to life, this feels exciting, because it feels right.
